I had the privilege of interning at  La Asociación de Esclerosis Múltiple de Toledo (ADEMTO) during my study abroad in the Fall of 2023. ADEMTO exists to improve the quality of life of people with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases, such as ALS, through the defense of rights, provision of social health services, social awareness, and MS research. I completed 130 hours of contact work at ADEMTO from mid September through mid December.
